After looking at Brian Moran's Seaworld series...I had to give it a try :o)
This is the shot that came to my mind when I thought about what I already had, it was taken in July of 2009.

Made two other shots +/- 1 and merged them in Photomatix and came out with this

Converted this to B/W in Corel Paint Shop Pro...

And...then realized Nik HDR would let you make an hdr image actually using just one, this one is using Nik's 'Granny's Attic' preset (I don't really care for it, just thought it was different without being too much)
